First of all, congratulations for the success of ProjectLibre! I've been usin OpenProj and now I am switching to PL :)

I like the export as pdf function, which is good for printing it out. The problem is that when there are a lot of tasks and the duration of the project is long, the gant elements are very far from the task name, which is only in the first page. Would it be possible to add the label also at the start of every gantt bar? That would make the pdf view much more friendly!

Also, do you have any plans on adding the possibility for exporting in other formats? For example, GNOME Planner has a very cool feature for exporting as html, which is very user friendly when presenting a project using a projector or a pc screen.

Thanks again for the great work!

Thanks for the comments!  If you delete columns in the spreadsheet it should not print them.... so if you just have name and duration for instance that would compress the printing... we do want HTML export in the future as well.....

Hi all,

I'm quite new to the planning-world and to the use of Project Libre, my name is Jurien and I'm from the Netherlands.

I have checked already some tutorials on Youtube about the use of functions. But I have the following two questions for you:

My first question is: Is there a place or button where I can see all my projects together in a kind of Gantt overview planner?

My second question is: How can I see in a kind of overview who is not planned in (people)?

Thanks for your time! Jurien

Thanks for your comments and welcome to the community!    ProjectLibre is currently more of a single project/single user system.  We are coming out with an enterprise version and PPMLibre which will allow the multiproject capabilities.  The Histogram can show you the usage/availability of resources.   Best of luck with your project and hoping you have success using ProjectLibre!

Best regards,

Marc

Hi Stefan,

The team is heads down on the cloud version.  Your suggestion is good as if you can right click in the Gantt pane and annotate the assignment but you don't currently have the selection for task name on the annotation.  That is an easy fix but we need to find precious time :-)   thank you for your note!
