I have been asked to develop a one day training for one of our customers.

Therefore I was wondering if there are any plans yet to create some support for this software? And yes, I am somewhat voluntering.

Hi Martin, thank you for the offer!  It would be great to have your assistance. We are launching the beta this week.  It looks good but there is little documentation.  It would be great to get a collaborative effort commenced!  Where are you located ?

Hi,

I am usually in the UK but currently on holiday in Spain where I can't get ProjectLibre to run on my MacMini.

Once I get home next week I'll hopefully get it going on my MacBook and would be very glad to help with documentation where I can; could possibly also help with the German too as I have worked as a PM there also, and yes I can speak German.

Can you put me in touch with those with whom I could collaborate.

Regards

Martin

Developing Wiki, and On Line Help, are very important for any program.  They really demand a team effort with knowledgeable leadership (NOT necessarily, DICTATORSHIP.)

Let me know if I can assist -- I do NOT consider myself a guru (or anything resembling one); however, I may be able to assist with editing.  (Sorry, English only.)

Hi Neil,

We are  now up to 86 pages in the documentation.  It is now a Google doc and can be added to under the Community menu on the website.   We are looking to continue to improve but also get a Tutorial and Training presentation put together....

All the best,

Marc

Hi Marc,

I have been scouring the internet all day trying to find the documentation for ProjectLibre.  I found a google docs version, but it is only 20 pages, not the 86 listed here, and it wasnt from the website.

When I mouseover or click on the community tab, it only gives me "Blog" Discussion" Polls".

I have tried logging out and logging back in again etc, but still no joy.

Could you provide a link maybe, or tell me what I am doing wrong?  I've got the basics down I think, but I really need a manual to make sure I'm doing it right.

Cheers
Belinda

Hi there,  we were getting so much spam and junk written that you need to log into the community site to access the documentation.  It will be under the Community menu and when logged in you see the Documentation link.  It has documentation, videos etc.

Hi -- I've poked around various threads, and no matter what I do, I'm not finding any documentation or wikis -- just talk of needing some! I'm no techie, but I am a professional editor -- I can help with that side of it. Is this something that you need help with, or is it already baked, and I just can't find it? Thanks!

When I hover over "Community" I see two options: Blog Posts and Discussions. No Documentation. Also, I'm on a Mac in Chrome.

Hello Kevin,

If you are logged into the community website you will see the option under Community with a menu for Documentation.  If you could assist it would be highly appreciated!!!!!  We need the help.

I am having the same problem as Kevin mentioned above. I'm logged into the community website, but I'm only seeing blog posts and discussion as options under the Community menu. I'm also working on a Mac (firefox). Please advise.

Thanks,

Emily

Yes, I understand but unfortunately as an open source solution we are looking for the community to assist and finish the documentation.  It is a wiki and without the authentification was getting grossly abused.
