Using Filters for Gantt View Hides Certain Tasks

I've been using ProjectLibre for only a few weeks. I'm running it on Mavericks. I'm looking forward to the new release and hope it will run smoother with Java. I have run into some things that are happening that are not what I would expect.

I track all of my 'work projects' in a single project file so I can see them all on the Gantt View and use the Dependancies. Some of the projects I have listed are only single line tasks while others have multiple sub tasks with due dates. I like to be able to use the filters to view the tasks grouped together, or to hide completed ones, however, it seems that when I activate a filter it hides the tasks that have sub-tasks with them. The filters I'm trying to use the most are Group by Resource Name, Sort by Due Date, and Filter by Non-Completed Tasks.

Is there something that I'm missing, or things that can't be done, or is it just a bug that will be fixed?

Thanks for your note.... I wanted to clarify.  You are filtering on non-complete tasks.  This will hide all completed tasks.  Are you saying that non-completed tasks are being hidden (filtered) ?   Are they Summary tasks and their subtasks ?
