ProjectLibre Global downloads

We wanted to update the community.  We are making excellent progress with both desktop and cloud versions. The ProjectLibre community is in every country in the world.  We track the community closely and are the 2nd largest project management community associated with a software company.  We do a lot behind the scenes to assist the various global communities and speak at many conferences.  ProjectLibre has insights into the project management industry by the enormous size and geographic nature of our community.  Thank you to the Community as we continue to grow with the addition of our Cloud community.

Here are some interesting statistics.  There are over 6,000,000 downloads around the world on all 7 continents (including users on Antarctica).  In the past month we have seen:

  • New users last month in 194 countries including (for example):
    •  Benin, Bahrain, Bhutan, Cambodia, Djibouty, Fiji, Guinea, Haiti, Holy Sea (Vatican), Kiribati
    •  Lesotho, Malawi, Maldives, Malta, Mayotte, Mongolia, Nepal, Reunion, Tonga, Vanuatu
  •  ProjectLibre Desktop usage:  Windows (72%)  macOS (17%) and Linux (11%)
  • Over 20,000 requests to beta test the ProjectLibre Cloud

We are pleased with the progress last month.  We are committed to continuing this progress with both the desktop version and upcoming Cloud release.  The ProjectLibre founders had their previous two startups aquired.  The last by a large private equity firm. It is internally a firm focus to deliver for our community long term.   The desktop will continue to improve, remaining free and open source.  The cloud is in beta testing and we are patiently resisting external pressure to prematurely release.  A great benefit from staying independent!  We do have weekly Cloud preview meetings at https://zcal.co/i/F_CPRdr_   It is for teams of 3+ and requires a business email to attend.  We are encouraging users to continue using the desktop version unless they have teams and can benefit with ProjectLIbre in their browser.

Thank you community!
