Removing constraints

Hi,
I am a first time user, (been more accustomed to MS Project) and I am struggling to remove a time constraint against an individual task even though I add a predecessor to it.
It reverts back everytime I change the start date - tells me that it has a constraint assigned but I do not know why.

Check if there is a yellow box to the left of the spreadsheet
If there is a constraint it will show with a yellow box to the left of the spreadsheet task row. If you hover the cursor over the box it will show the constraint and then double click the box and get the detail dialog box
