Asian User Community

The ProjectLibre team has done significant work throughout Asia with our software.  There are almost a million users of our past software throughout the region.  The two co-founders have spent time in India, China, Japan and many other Asian countries.  We would like to have a robust community and have translated ProjectLibre into many languages.  We look forward to your joining the Asian User Group!  You can also join the Global and other user groups.

Recent files & MS Project 2010 compatibility

It's really great to see updates to OpenProj. I was thinking it was probably dead in the water.

I was also hoping to see a Recent Files menu/icon somewhere so I don't need to keep browsing around to open my projects. Any chance of adding that for the final release?

The North, Central and South  American user community has been very strong with early downloads and involvement.  It is very much appreciated!  We have downloads now in every country except Suriname.  If you have any friends in Suriname, alert them of ProjectLibre!

I wanted to update the ProjectLibre community on the progress with the beta program.  The Community has been terrific in sending feedback and even project files with errors.  This has helped the team quickly identify issues and make fixes.

Updated Beta this weekend with many fixes

The community has been terrific in assisting us with the beta release of ProjectLibre. We did a complete re-write of most existing code.  This went well but the errors being identified by the community are very helpful.

Progress with the ProjectLibre release

A quick update on the progress with the ProjectLibre release.  We are seeing great progress and I just received the latest version. There are some pesky bugs in the ribbon UI that preclude downloads quite yet but we are on target to release this month.  I am including a screenshot.
