I work as a research fellow at the Institute of Microengineering & Nanoelectronics (IMEN), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. I was also a consultant to NXPhotonics, a university start up company, appointed as the company's Director since 2012 and retired in 2020. The company was involved in optical design and rapid prototyping of plastic optics. At the University, I'm currently involved in research and development of fiber optics devices, 3D printing technology and micromachining process for various applications. I am a professional engineer (PEng) and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and PMI-Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP).
