Calender change

I have created aproject with standard calender. However, later on I need to change the calender with Saturday as half day working (four hour working). I created a separate calender ":Test" where i have allocated 4 hoursworking on Saturdays. I changed Calender of resources to "Test".

Now I was trying to changes the start and end date for a task, which is earlier starting on Monday, to Start on Saturday, It is not accepting this change. It always goes back to standard Calender.

Any solutions.

Clock doesn't start earlier than 8:00 am

I am a freelancer, and need a clock that gives me 24 hours of working time. I read a post and accordingly selected the calender dates using a Ctrl+Mouse click, set the type to Non-Default Working time and set the working hours to 0:00 to 24:00. I've also set the Duration settings to 24 hours, 168 hours per week, 31 days per month. Even then, my tasks won't go beyond 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. I've tried setting to 24 hours instead of Standard calendar, and have even tried creating a new calender, but no use. Help please!
