Can you create a continuous task in Libre?

Is there a way to create a continous task in libre?
What I mean by this, is say one of my tasks is submitting a form to the government, and in turn waiting for a reply of approval from them. Is there a way to make the task bar lengthen automatically each day, until I receive the approval from them in which case I can enter the day I get it as the end date, or just put 100% complete to show the green check to know that it is done?
I know I could manually do this with the bars, but I have a lot of different projects that I need to be able to check the progress of different tasks easily.

Interesting question
Thanks for the question.... you cannot actually do that currently. It is an interesting question. We have spoken with a BPM vendor about integrating business process management in the future. This would be a good use case.
