I have Java 64, but PL does not detect it as being present and will not start. Running Windows 7. Anyone have any advice, please?

I have 64 Java, but PL does not detect it being the present and will not start. Running Windows 7. Anyone have any advice, please? Upon installation ProjectLibre you are running as Administrator? As far as I know the platform supports Java 7 only. http://sourceforge.net/projects/projectlibre/files/ProjectLibre/1.5.6/ How is using Windows try uninstall both software, perform the registry cleanup and try reinstalling the Java 64 bit and then PL. Let us know the results. Hope this helps.

...had the exact same problem. I applied the same proposed solution - didn't help.
Then I installed the first sub 7 version of Java I found. In my case v. 6.37 and now it works.
