Getting Help for newbie PL user?

Hi,

As a newbie to PL, I clicked on the help button and my chrome browser popped up an SSL error:

"You attempted to reach www.projectlibre.org, but instead you actually reached a server identifying itself as*.rhcloud.com. "

Can anyone confirm that the rhcloud server is the correct home?

As a general point on help and documentation...

I'm using PL as an occaisional MS Project user, so I'm fairly familiar with project management concepts but looking for help with this implementation.  I did have a look at the User Guide I eventually found in Community tab, but why is it buried here?  Surely the current version of the documentation should be easily visible from the Project home page, that's where I'll look first even before I've tried the software.  The community area is fine for discussions about future revisions.

The User Guide itself reads like a how-to-do-project-mangement guide, when what's needed is a how-to-use-this-software guide. For example, say I want to create dependencies between tasks.  Aha! it's in Step 4 - Identify task dependencies; sure enough it describes what dependencies are but not how to implement them. In fact the second paragraph, after fig 27, is wrong as it says task 3 is not on the critical path, but that's not what's show in fig27.

Finally I tried the Basics of Project Libre video which is great, but only any use if you're able to connect online and that's not always possible when you're doing projects!

Please accept these thoughts as initial feedback from a new user and correct me if I'm wrong about anything.  And don't take this as any criticism of the project - it looks great.

 Simon
