I may be using the software in a way that is not typical.  I am using it to schedule machining centers.

The machines are the tasks, the jobs that are to be machined are links to them and I desire to use employees as resources because hours available for each employee varies and otherwise does not present an accurate snapshot of projections without out this capability.  I would like to have the ability to make schedule changes with the employees and have it reflect how this will affect the end date/time for the project.  For example if an employee calls in sick and we lose a day then the finish date for the task should be pushed out another day once that adjustment has been made without having to manually adjust the finish datetime.
