I'm trying to use this to visualise home projects (and comminucate to SWMBO how they are going) - these are all "I do them as I get time" so I'm not bothered about calendars, planned durations, etc. Ideally I just want to be able to enter that a task was started on a specific date and how far through it is.

Basically, I'm looking to have a chart on the wall showing the tasks (and dependencies), and for those I've got to, when they were started and how far through they are/when they were finished.

Is this possible ? More to the point, is it possible without a lot of work ?

I tried to reorder subtasks, but the only way I found was to cut and paste. This is not really working well with dependencies...

Somebody told me MS Project does this when pressing Ctrl+Arrow up/down. I tried Shift (selecting, as expected), Ctrl, Alt, AltGr, Windows, ... but to no avail.

Is there some other way to reorder tasks?
