North American User Community

The ProjectLibre team was co-founded in Silicon Valley.  We have traditionally seen over 40% of the users in our open source projects come from the United States.  We will be posting NA specific information in the User Group.  You can join other groups as well if you are interested.

Using Filters for Gantt View Hides Certain Tasks

I've been using ProjectLibre for only a few weeks. I'm running it on Mavericks. I'm looking forward to the new release and hope it will run smoother with Java. I have run into some things that are happening that are not what I would expect.

Inserting columns

On a Mac, unable to insert columns. Documentation says right-click but the application doesn't respond to a right click, verified it works elsewhere on the Mac.

Multiple authors in the cloud?

Is there a way to create a cloud based chart with multiple authors?

I'd like persons in charge of tasks to be able to update their status for the team to see.

I am trying to set up a reusable template for reoccurring projects. Is this possible?

Thanks!

Assigning a cost to a project

I am a new user and trying to figure out how to assign costs to specific tasks.  Do I do it through File/Information?  I cannot write into any of the fields that come up (everything is $0.00).

Request: Pull-down menu for assigning resources

Hi to whoever is designing and producing this software.

Could you please build in a pull-down menu for assigning resources to a task when in Gantt view?

Your work is much appreciated.

Thak you, Trevor

Website performance improved

There has been a lot of good community feedback on the poor performance of the website.  It has gotten better this week thanks to the work of our community member from Red Hat Mike McGrath!
