Is there a way to view task start and finish dates for multiple projects?

I've got a quick question about ProjectLibre.  I want to set an absolute date for the Finish column and basically work backwards from that.  For example; an entire project has to be completed by, let's say, October 1.

I work at a company that is just beginning to use ProjectLibre as a replacement for MS Project. So far it has been a hit with Windows our users, but I'm having trouble getting it going for one of our Mac users.

I am running Linux Mint with ProjectLibre. I am trying to change the workday time. I can get to the screen required and create a Special Calendar, but ProjectLibre will not accept revised start and finish times.

How do you add a fixed cost to a task or resource (I'm using PL 1.5.5 on a Mac)?

We want to have multiple users update their individual task progress. My test shows multiple users can access one file, but no warning or other message appears to show if more than one person has the project file (.pod) open.

I'm probably just being  thick, but how on earth do you wrap text in the task fields for longer descriptions?

Can anyone tell me how to split a bar into 1 week segments for a period of time.

Basically I need to show a bi-weekly meeting from a start date to an end date and I dont want it to read as one continuous bar.
