| Date Format | It is unfortunate that Project Libre does not have the facility to change the start and finish date formats to Day/Month/Year and the option to remove the time | Barry Freeman | African User Community | Sep, 23, 2014 |
| Timeline in minutes/hours | Hello I am using "projectlibre" for a project that last just a few hours. Using zoom in/ zoom out options, it is possible to change the visible scale, but it is not enough to see the Gantt chart in detail. The zoom in option does not go any furhter. Can we do something to zoom in even more on the Gantt chart? Is there an option to change the scale into hours or minutes? Thanks |

| Quick question - answer may be obvious | I've got a quick question about ProjectLibre. I want to set an absolute date for the Finish column and basically work backwards from that. For example; an entire project has to be completed by, let's say, October 1. I'd like to set a hard date in the Finish column and then have ProjectLibre calculate, based on the number of days I enter, the absolute last day a task would have to be started to meet the Finish deadline. Is that doable the way I'm describing it? |

| Adding Costs | Hi, I am new to ProjectLibre and i would like to add costs to my Gantt chart. I have seen the $0.00 section but cannt find where to put this in. Also does this work on a per hour basis or when you add resources will this also add to the cost of the project? I hope someone can help, it is a shame there isnt a turorial or something on how to use the software. It looks like good software to have but it is taking me a long time to work out how to do things. Thanks Deasha |

| Indent and Outdent bugs | I'm sorry to say that this product is NOT user friendly. I downloaded the app last evening and started to populate tasks within the "Name" field. I then wanted to create the hierarchy and add subtasks but every time I "Outdented" a task, the task was removed from the line and taken to the bottom of the all of the tasks. I tried working with it several different times and have just been frustrated with my results. Also, the mouse scroll does not work on the page, but I have to go to the side bar to scroll - Frustrating. |

| How does one configure ProjectLibre? | Amongst other things, it would appear that one cannot change simple things such as currency symbol, time units (hours vs. days), etc. I'm uninstalling this software. Maybe I'll try again in a year or so... |

| Custom Fields in the Gantt Chart | I am new to Project Libre. When I have used Microsoft Project in the past, I have leveraged custom fields in the Gantt chart such as Man Hours, & like to see the % Work Complete in the Gantt Chart. However, I cannot figure how to modify the columns that are listed in the Gantt Chart. Can this be done? I am on a Mac OS X version. Thanks.

| Export gantt in a viewable format | First of all, congratulations for the success of ProjectLibre! I've been usin OpenProj and now I am switching to PL :) I like the export as pdf function, which is good for printing it out. The problem is that when there are a lot of tasks and the duration of the project is long, the gant elements are very far from the task name, which is only in the first page. Would it be possible to add the label also at the start of every gantt bar? That would make the pdf view much more friendly! |
