Using ProjectLibre for 1st time. Is there a tutorial? If so, where? Need simple answers like how to delete columns, etc.

Hey I have this project which I have to hand in by tomorrow, I think my problem is quiet simple one but I'm really new to project management and this softwarre and can not figure it out.

I need to keep the duration of the task but change the hourse that resource works, for example, the task takes 8 days but the person needs to work 4 hours per day. Everytime I change the houre the task duration changes as well. can some one please help with this?

how can i adapt the working days/hours in my project?

I am using ProjectLibre Version 1.5.7 for both Microsoft Windows 7 and Linux (Ubuntu).  Is it supported for Microsoft Project 2013 files?  If I load a 2013 file the UI gets stuck at the loading page.

I am trying to mark the Christmas period as non-working time in a project plan, without success.

I open the calendar, mark each of the days off as "non-working time" selecting the radio button, days are correctly marked in red in the calendar, and I finally exit by pressing OK.

I save the project plan, open it again, and my tasks still start and end in the middle of non-working time.

I am using ProjectLibre Version 1.5.7.

Happy to attach the plan, if it's useful to find out what's wrong.

Am I doing something wrong, or is it a defect?

Sorry im a complete newb and i dont know how to install this and i need it for my project management class and do not want to go back to windows.

I run Linux Mint and issued this command from the Terminal : rpm -i projectlibre-1.5.7-1.rpm and got this output :

Can we do the same in project libre?

I wanted to share the great news that InfoWorld has awarded ProjectLibre with the "Best of Open Source" or BOSSIE award.   We are really pleased and appreciative of the recognition.  We are hard at work with the new versions as they have noted.  In fact, they will be multiprojecting, subprojecting and resource pooling in the new release.  Look out Microsoft :-)

I add tasks in the program in Russian, and in the program they are displayed. However if I save them as PDF file, they aren't read. Opportunity to save in Russian in PDF files is very necessary to me. What shall I do?
