Hallo, is it possible to change the view in the Gantt calendar time line from daily view to weekly view?

My project will cover more than one years sono I need to compact the time line.

I would like to know if I can change date format from US (i.e. (2/11/14 8:00 AM) to European style (11/2/14 8:00 AM)?

Has anyone created an MS Project XML mapping file to be used with Excel?  I've been tasked with importing some larger existing project plans that were done in Excel.  According to the help, in order to export it from excel in a format that can be imported into ProjectLibre, I have to have a "mapping" file that will map the excel columns to the XML schema.  I took a couple of runs at it without luck.  Not really sure what I am trying to achieve with it.  As a related thought, any plans for a CSV import function that could eliminate all this run around?  Thanks for the help.

I am on OSX 1.9.2 and usually have no problem with Java...

Hi, I have a pretty fundamental noob question.

If I have a task with 2 subtasks that can be done in parallel, and both take half a day then I understand the task can be completed in half a day.

However, If I assign a resouce (in this case a person) to both subtasks, then the task will take a full day to complete.  These tasks are not depenancies of one another.  At the moment, ProjectLibre allows me to set the same resource to oth subtasks as the same time.  

How do i use the priority of a task to set where it should be among other tasks?
Say if i set a parent task with the priority of 1 (being the highest priority) and then another parent task as 2 then another with 3 and so on, can i use this to automatically set where the task should start (then finish) and the next highest priority to start?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks =)

I jsut uploaded PL today and am fiding it pretty intuitive. But I assisgned the wrong start date for my project when I initiated the file. How can I change it so the little red circle on the calendar is for the right day?

Hello, we use projectlibre 1.5.8 free version for building projects management in a windows XP professional environnement with latest Java version installed. The program fits to our needs but we have problems with the printing setting. We can not creat (via the PDF button) other page settings then A3 the result of PDF export are always 4 pages. We need one page doesnt matter whiche size.
