I just want to see the progress of tasks in minimum for the complete project. How to do this?

I´m new using ProjectLibre and it´s great. I´m just creating a proyect and trying to input the budget cost to the proyect, i assigned the cost at the resource tab but when i check the WBS graph all the costs don´t appear as budget. they appear es executed.

All, I am trying to assign materials to a project. In the Resources table, I am entering "unit" into the table, but can't find where to apply a quantity. What shows up in the Resources tab of a task is "work" and a value of "1", which I cannot change. So, while I need 150 units, I can only seem to get a single unit cost.

Any help here would be appreciated. Thank you.

Using version 1.6.2., is there another way to update the start and end of the Gantt when resource time changes are made other than creating a calendar for each resource and making adjustments to each resource calendar?

I have a project with 1 task.  It is a fixed work task that has a WORK of 8 hrs.

I assign it a resource which works 4 hr/day.

I expect the duration to be 2 days.  Instead, the duration is 1 day and the resource is shown as 200% allocated on that day on the resource histogram.

How would I make Project Libre spread that 8 hr task over 2 days as it should?

I added one task...set it to Fixed Work and set the work to 24hrs.  The task shows a 3day duration

I have created a Gantt chart in ProjectLibre, and I set the current day's date in the "Project Information" window.  On the computer screen, a green line shows today's date.  This is fine.

BUT, when I print the chart, today's date does not show.  My management is asking for this information so we can see progress more clearly as the charts are periodically updated and published.  How can I show today's date on the print out of the chart?

We wanted to send out a quick note in regards to the latest release 1.6.2.  It is also important to explain our current development efforts.   There are some improvements with ProjectLibre that we all see would be helpful.  Our team is completely rewriting ProjectLibre.  The new modular architecture is going to allow a much more robust engine.  It will also allow for modules and integration to be much easier.  We are looking to cloud enable ProjectLibre and add some very cool multi-user capabilities.   The current code is quite dated and has know issues as we wrote it many years ago.   Howe

I just started working with this software

I got 8 tasks in and was linking them all serially by typing in the predecessors manually everything was working great until the start date quit changing on the 7th task. 

A yellow calender icon appeared in the first colunm stating 'task has a 'starts no earlier than' date'

I have tried to adjust this every way I can think of to no avail, I modified the properties window, changing the start date options and no matter what I choose they keep going back to 'starts no earlier than'
