| 7 day work week calendar | I am having difficulty in creating a project which runs 7 days per week. I edited the calendar to produce a custom calaendar with working hours set at the weekend, but when I enter the duration of the work in the sheet, if more than 5 days it splits the work over the weekend. I do not want this to happen, the work runs 7 days a week am I missing something? |

| ProjectLibre awarded InfoWorld's "Best of Open Source" | I wanted to share the great news that InfoWorld has awarded ProjectLibre with the "Best of Open Source" or BOSSIE award. We are really pleased and appreciative of the recognition. We are hard at work with the new versions as they have noted. In fact, they will be multiprojecting, subprojecting and resource pooling in the new release. Look out Microsoft :-)

| Feature request: New from Template | PL does not seem to have the capability to create a new project from a template but, it will open a MS project template if you rename it from *.mpt to *.mpp To create your own templates, save an existing project as e.g. “Anual shut template”, and use the Open button to open it, and the Save as button to rename it, and preserve the template. It does happen that we have recurring (annualy for instance) project types, of which a certain amount of task will always be the same (e.g. shut down, and start up tasks) so "create from template" can be quite useful. |

| older mac os 10.5.8 and can't download projectlibre | Well, I went through steps outlined for similar mac issues, but it seems that with the older version of mac, I can't download java 7. The file I am trying to open is projectlibre-1-1.5.6-java7.dmg, so it seems that java 7 is a requirement. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. |

| Allocation of tasks to resources | I have created a project with a number if single day tasks, a lot of dependencies amongst them, various priorities, and a single resource to do them. The intention is to get a good sequencing of the many interrelated tasks. However, part from dependencies causing one task to be scheduled after it predecessor, large numbers of tasks are being scedhuled on the same day, even though each task is defined with 8 hours duration and 8 hours work. How do I tell it that this resource can only do 1 task a day?
